Prince Harry looked “nostalgic and sadder” when talking about his estranged brother Prince William on TV, a body language expert has said. Over the weekend, the Duke of Sussex, 41, appeared on ABC's new documentary “The Happiest Story On Earth: 70 Years Of Disneyland”, alongside his wife Meghan Markle, 44.

Talking from their Montecito home, the couple - who recently took their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to Disneyland - spoke about how much they love the theme park, both as adults and when they were children. Prince Harry, who quit royal life in 2020, also shared an insight into his memory of visiting as a child with his late mother, Princess Diana and his brother, Prince William, with whom he is no longer believed to be on talking terms.

Recalling the fun times he had, the prince said: “I remember losing it as a kid with all the characters. Like, losing it, like ‘oh this is amazing’. With my mum and my brother. I remember it very well.”

While Harry initially looked happy to be recalling such memories, body language expert Judi James told Express.co.uk that the prince soon becomes “sadder” when he talks about his mum and brother.

She said: “Harry doesn't just talk about his childhood memories here, he acts them out, going into a childlike state with his body language to express his excitement at the time but then falling into a rather more nostalgic and sadder mood when reflecting the memories as an adult.

“As he talks about the rides his shoulders rise upward along with his eyebrows in a childlike expression of excitement.

“When he talks about 'losing it' he looks upward too, mimicking the small child he was looking up at all the magical rides. His eyes are wide with wonder and he even gasps a few times.”

She continued: “But when he tells the interviewer he 'went there with my mum and my brother', his eyes come down to perform an eye-dart suggesting he is reflecting on those two people, and his facial expression takes on a sadder look.”

Harry and Meghan took their children to Disneyland just a few months ago to celebrate Princess Lilibet’s fourth birthday.

The family are believed to have spent a few days there, with Meghan even sharing a few family snaps on her Instagram account.

This included pictures and video snippets of the family meeting Disney princesses and enjoying the rides.
