Celebrity Traitors fans have spotted a glaring "obvious flaw" in one star's strategy. The much-loved murder mystery game is in full swing, with Claudia Winkleman and her signature jumpers back for the ultimate test of trust, deception and betrayal.
After the BBC contest captured the hearts of the nation in 2022 and three civilian series were broadcast, 19 celebrities are taking turns playing the roles of Traitors and Faithful.
Stars such as Cat Burns, Jonathan Ross, Lucy Beaumont, Joe Wilkinson, Nick Mohammed and Stephen Fry are participating and have provided some Bafta-worthy moments, from Alan Carr nearly outing himself through laughter, Celia Imrie's infamous fart, to Tom Daley's side-eye at Kate Garraway.
Three stars have already been 'murdered', and another four banished, with Wednesday's episode ending on a significant cliffhanger as suspicion fell on David Olusoga and Mark Bonnar, with a game of chance set to eliminate one of the celebrities tonight.
Incredibly, the actual Traitors, Alan, Cat and Jonathan, have so far managed to avoid suspicion and appear to be safe for the time being, reports Wales Online.
However, one viewer believes their downfall is imminent, posting on Reddit their theory that Cat Burns must be an obvious Traitor as all the other younger contestants have been removed from the game.
They penned: "There's quite an obvious flaw in the Traitors' gameplay."
The post declared: "Will start by saying that this has very briefly and vaguely been referenced in the castle BUT in my eyes it's quite a huge flaw/hole in the way the Traitors have murdered, and would quite easily lead the Faithfuls to the quietest Traitor if they paid attention.
"Anyone who watches the show knows that Claudia chooses a cross section of the group to be the Traitors. It's good for gameplay and it makes great TV. Everyone is fixated on the 'Big Dog' theory, but they're overlooking the other end of the spectrum - the young'uns.
"Of the four 'young' players, [Tom, Ruth, Niko and Cat] 1 was banished and 2 have been murdered, leaving Cat. No-one seems to have twigged that this is a massive potential indicator that she is a Traitor."
One viewer responded: "I absolutely think this is enough to vote against Cat, say you're in the final with her, it would definitely play on your mind."
A second fan remarked: "Agree, Niko and Ruth discussed there would probably be a young traitor. But they all have individual suspects not Traitors collectively theories."
Another chimed in: "Nick seems fairly confident that Cat is a traitor, and he may well have considered this."
However, others weren't convinced, with one penning: "It's totally plausible to have 3 older Traitors. I don't think you can use age meta to tell who would be picked."
A different user countered: "Fair enough. I agree that it's plausible, but with little to go on, it's at least something they should be considering."
Someone else said: "I mean its as much a basis as anything, but people are accused based more on social capital and their standing in the group compared to their accuser."
Before joining the programme, Cat maintained she's "not really that competitive" and left it to destiny whether she'd become a Traitor or a Faithful.
She explained: "I'll leave it up to the universe and whatever I'm meant to be is what I'll be. If I feel Claudia tap my shoulder, then that's what it's meant to be."
She continued: "My strategy, if I am a Traitor, would be to just try and go under the radar, not draw too much attention to myself, but also give out names of people who I think could be Traitors. I think you run a risk if you don't say anybody's name at all of arousing suspicion."
Celebrity Traitors continues tonight at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer
