If you’ve been watching The Celebrity Traitors (and if you haven’t, what on earth are you doing? Get on BBC iPlayer NOW) then you’ll know that the Traitors, Alan Carr, Jonathan Ross, and Cat Burns, have been causing absolute chaos in that castle.
The Faithful just haven’t been able to get it right around the Round Table, banishing players who are very much NOT Traitors, with Niko Omilana, Tameka Empson and Clare Balding all falling under suspicion and, ultimately, being sent packing.
Following her banishment earlier this week, Tameka – who is best known for playing Kim Fox on EastEnders – has revealed an unaired scene that explains why her fellow Faithful thought she was a Traitor and it makes total sense.

Actor Mark Bonnar was the first player to voice his suspicions about Tameka being a Traitor and although it initially seemed to come out of nowhere, it seems he actually had a very good reason for questioning her.
Tameka was appearing on This Morning yesterday (Thursday 16 October) when host Ben Shephard let slip that she’d accidentally called herself a Traitor during her time in the castle.
He said, ‘I think there was something that was cut out as [Mark] has been talking on a podcast and there was somewhere where you slipped up along the way and you said, “I’m a Traitor, no I mean I’m a Faithful”.
‘That never made it into the show and he heard you say this and you literally made a mistake?’

Tameka replied, ‘Yeah, I mean, people make mistakes…’
And when Ben pointed out, ‘Everything you say is being listened to carefully,’ she responded, ‘Yes, but I would have thought that I’d like to have seen something before I called it out.’
Following her elimination, Tameka also opened up about the ‘emotional’ scenes and admitted she was glad she wasn’t picked to be a Traitor.’

‘I think Claudia [Winkleman] saw the faithfulness in me. And now I think about it, being a Traitor is a headache.
‘It’s a lot of game playing, and you’re going to be up later than anybody else. I think it was right for me to be a Faithful, and I really wanted to be a great Faithful.’
She added, ‘I had plans to lead the Faithfuls to victory, but that was cut short.’
