They'll all participate in the treacherous game of detection, backstabbing and trust we've come to know and love in the coming weeks, all in the hope of winning up to £100,000 for a charity of their choice.

When a source told The Mail on Sunday that Stephen Fry was at the top of Winkelman's wish list for the celebrity edition, the question was put to him by BBC Radio 2 host Zoe Ball.

To which Fry said: "I've heard rumours that I'm in it… but I'm not allowed to comment."

Stephen Fry first rose to fame as one half of double act Fry and Laurie, alongside Hugh Laurie. Since then, he has lent voice work to Netflix's Heartstopper and has starred in the likes of Treasure, Bones and Red, White & Royal Blue.
