Elton John and David Furnish have shared an emotional joint announcement as fans rushed to support them. The Rocket Man singer, 78, headed to Singapore for the F1 Grand Prix, which saw George Russell take the win and McLaren secure the Constructors’ Championship title for 2025. Elton was on stage to provide the entertainment at the sporting event – and David couldn’t get enough.
Sharing a sweet snap of Elton at his piano with his fists raised, he wrote on Instagram: “WOW!!! Elton and his amazing band absolutely smashed it last night at the Singapore Grand Prix. 70,000 people were hobbing and bobbing all night. Thank you @f1nightrace for having us.”
Elton quickly responded: “An incredible night in Singapore!!”
Emotional fans headed to the comments section, including Liz Hurley, who added a string of red heart emojis.
