Meghan Markle has marked World Mental Health Day today by sharing a sweet new video of her and Prince Harry. The Duchess of Sussex took to her official Instagram story on Friday evening to share a behind-the-scenes clip of her and Prince Harry from Thursday's award ceremony in New York City, where the couple were honoured for their humanitarian work.

In the black and white short clip, Harry is seen reading what looks to be his speech ahead of the main event, and Meghan is seen getting ready, seemingly putting on her earrings. Meghan accompanied the video with a gushing tribute to her husband, which read: "Happy World Mental Health Day ...to the man that always keeps me laughing [red heart emoji]."

The seven-second clip was set to Sylvie Vartan's song, Baby C'est Vous.

It comes hours after the couple made two appearances in New York City on Thursday and on Friday.

On Thursday, Harry and Meghan attended the Project Healthy Minds Gala, where they received an award for their humanitarian work.

The Duke warned that social media's impact on children is "one of the most pressing issues of our time."

Citing that 4,000 families are taking legal action through the Social Media Victims Law Centre, the duke said more needed to be done to protect young people from online dangers.

He said: "Tonight, we are all here together to focus on what remains one of the most pressing issues of our time."

Meghan added that the couple often discussed how they would protect their own children, six-year-old Archie and Lili, four, as they grow older.

She said: "Like so many parents, we think constantly about how to embrace technology's benefits while safeguarding against its dangers."

On Friday, the Duke and Duchess attended the Project Healthy Minds World Mental Health Day Festival.

Meanwhile, the couple's Archewell Foundation announced that its Parents' Network initiative is joining forces with ParentsTogether, a non-profit organisation dedicated to family advocacy and online safety.
