Miriam Margolyes says she turned down The Celebrity Traitors as she 'can't think of anything I'd rather less do'.
The Harry Potter star, 84, has revealed that she was approached for the BBC series, but decided it wasn't her bag.
Speaking at Cheltenham Festival, she said: 'I was offered this job. No. Just recently and I can't think of anything I'd rather less do.
'I'm not into that. I've never watched it, I don't intend to watch it.'
She has been mentioned online by fans of the show that she would be in their 'dream line-up'.
The current cast includes the likes of Chatty Man Alan Carr, GMB's Kate Garraway and singer Cat Burns.

Another celeb in the lineup, actress Ruth Codd recently revealed the very strict alcohol rules the stars had to adhere to on set.
The Midnight Club actress, 29, was the latest star to be murdered by the Traitors after she became suspicious of Jonathan Ross.
The contestants on the show are often seen behind the bar at the castle pouring a variety of boozy beverages.
She said: 'There was probably an unspoken hierarchy in there, and that placed certain people like myself at a disadvantage because I haven't been in the industry very long.'
Traitors Jonathan Ross, Alan and Cat decided to kill off Ruth during Thursday's episode after she went for Jonathan during the round table.
Discussing their decision, the TV presenter said: 'Ruth is not going to let it go and I feel like the cloak is getting tighter round my neck.'
'This could back fire on you,' said Cat. Jonathan replied, 'If I was a Traitor I wouldn't do it, why would I put myself in the firing line.'
Alan added: 'Yeah let's get rid now before she poisons everyone.'

Walking into her room to find the letter killing her, Ruth said: 'I knew this was coming,' before joking, 'Jonathan and Kate Garraway are traitors!'
'I'm mentally extremely strong and I will miss the Faithfuls,' she added.
The celebrities were left shocked and confused as the final stars Charlotte Church and Stephen Fry arrived at the Scottish castle for breakfast.
Several of the stars looked around saying, 'We're missing Ruth, I don't know what that means.'
Speaking to the camera, Jonathan admitted: 'Yesterday I had a lot of heat on me so I have to be aware that people are going to be looking at me, I am worried.'
Meanwhile Joe Marler said: 'I think they're going to kill Ruth to make it look like Jonathan.'
Joe Wilkinson said: 'I agree I don't think it's Jonathan.'
Ruth is the fifth celebrity to be kicked-off the hit BBC series leaving the three Traitors in power.
