The Traitors legend Linda Rands has finally spoken out after being likened to Alan Carr in the opening episode of The Celebrity Traitors.
Comic Alan was amongst the Traitors chosen by Claudia Winkleman alongside Jonathan Ross and Cat Burns in the ultimate game of deception, betrayal and treachery.
Within moments, he already appeared as though he might buckle, chuckling straight away after Claudia quizzed him on being a Traitor and nearly crumbling before a murder in broad daylight before the episode concluded on a cliffhanger.
At one moment, Alan even declared that he would be "worse than Linda", who infamously betrayed herself with one solitary glance when Claudia addressed the season three traitors around the roundtable.
Now, Linda has addressed the comparison, which sent viewers into fits of laughter, reports the Daily Record.
"Picking Alan Carr to be a traitor is magnificent. I hope he makes his way to the final, but I can't help but think he'll be Linda in disguise," one fan wrote on X.
Another said: "Alan "I'm worse than Linda" Carr is actually making me die laughing every five seconds I CAN'T! But I also feel like he could be a strength honestly, I feel like he could really come into his own."
"Think Alan Carr and Linda were separated from birth," another said, while one added: "Alan Carr is Linda 2.0."
"Linda walked so Alan Carr could run," someone else commented.
Taking to Instagram to share her thoughts, Linda began: "Well, well, well, The Celebrity Traitors last night, what a start."
Remarking that Jonathan felt like an "obvious choice" for a Traitor, that could end up being his "downfall", she continued: "Thank you Alan for the call out, I don't think anybody could be worse than me, I was pretty hopeless! But thank you anyway.
"Alan, I'm not sure, he might get away with it because of the comedy part, I'm not sure.
"But I think Cat is the one to watch, she's cool, calm and collected, and I think she'll play it really, really well."
Ahead of taking part in the series, Alan admitted it was a "no brainer", but said he "didn't know" if he wanted to be a Faithful or a Traitor.
Having been chosen as one of the three, he also said: "There will be a different side to me. I'll have to adapt; no comedy, it's one of those shows where you have to shape shift. You have to chat to people you wouldn't normally chat with just to see if they are hiding anything.
"I don't think it's a case of how good you are at being a Traitor or a Faithful. It's how you adapt and how you draw on your social skills. I've worked in a call centre where I had to deal with one thing after another, so I think my call centre skills are going to come in handy!"
Celebrity Traitors continues tonight at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
