ITV bosses have cracked the whip in the jungle after Alex Scott was found smuggling contraband into the I'm A Celebrity camp. The former footballer, 41, was assigned as one of two camp chefs alongside Jack Osbourne during last night's show, meaning they were in charge of cooking up some crocodile feet after Angry Ginge won 10 stars in the trial. But while they were cooking, Alex, painstakingly obviously added salt to the meal to enhance the flavour. Sneaking in contraband has been going on for years, and every time it happens, the campmates are punished.
During tonight's episode, celebrities will be forced to forfeit a star earned by Aitch in the latest Bushtucker Trial as punishment. With the discovery that there is contraband lurking in the camp, the celebrities will be given the chance to hand over any other smuggled items without facing additional penalties.
An insider told The Mirror: "There could very well be more than one smuggler....it remains to be seen who puts their hands up."
It remains unclear whether Alex's fellow campmates were aware of the rule break or if she was acting alone. But let's be real, she might as well have waved the salt in front of the camera because the sheer lack of effort to try and hide it shocked me.

Despite being rumbled for some of her items, which I'm sure were handled far more subtly than Alex, that didn't deter her from doing the same thing when she entered I'm A Celebrity: All Stars in 2023.
She did switch things up a bit the second time, also hiding items in her bra to avoid suspicion. But come on Alex, if you're going to sneak in contraband, we want to see people going to extreme lengths. And ITV, take off more than one star next time.
