Nikita Kuzmin certainly enjoyed a delightful Halloween evening with his girlfriend Lauren Jaine as the couple spent their time creating pumpkind together. The Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer posted a collection of photographs showing himself posing alongside Lauren and their carved pumpkins on Instagram. Nikita appeared cheerful as he snuggled up to Lauren, who beamed proudly at the camera.
"First experience carving pumpkins who do you think carved which one?" Nikita wrote beneath the images, which rapidly gathered numerous responses. The adorable photographs emerge following Lauren's public statement addressing speculation about a potential 'curse' involving the professional dancer and celebrity partner Amber Davies, reports Wales Online.
In a clip shared on TikTok, she mimicked browsing social media whilst writing: "Me watching all the cute tiktoks of all the strictly couples."
She subsequently expressed her bewilderment at those anticipating the notorious 'curse' to materialise. "Please be respectful to the real-life partners and let them have a good experience of the show too," she shared.
Lauren isn't the sole person to tackle suggestions of a 'curse'. Amber revealed she actually spends more time communicating with Nikita's girlfriend than he manages to.
"I love Lauren, Nikita's girlfriend, so much. I text her all the time. All day, every day," she revealed to The Sun.
"Lauren spends more time with me than her fella. She actually came into my dressing room before she went to see Nikita [the other day]. I have stolen her."
Regrettably for Nikita and Amber, they found themselves in the feared dance-off last week against Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Lauren Oakley. The duo were saved by all four judges and are set to perform the Viennese Waltz to 'I See Red' by Everybody Loves an Outlaw this week.
Reflecting on their dance-off experience on It Takes Two, Uber confessed: "I just felt awful that it was us that had to be a part of them being knocked out.
"I wasn't sad because we were in the dance off, I was sad because I love him so much, and I love Lauren Oakley. Them as a team were amazing, and it's just the worst feeling in the world."
Strictly Come Dancing continues tonight on BBC One at 6.35pm.
