I'm a big fan of Phantom Peak, a choose-your-own-adventure style experience in Surry Quays. The stories change with the seasons, so this is a brand new set of escapades, loosely themed around Christmas. Interactive activities generally make me want to runawayscreaming but the actors here commit so fully, and the sets are created with such incredible attention to detail, that it's easy to immerse yourself. The bar probably helps too (I'd imagine, I'm a sober punkthese days). And my nine-year-old son absolutely loves it here. HOT TIP: you'll spend a lot of time on your phone - in a good way - and can spend up to four hours here, so make sure your mobile is charged or bring a power bank. Buy tickets to Phantom Peak.
