It's that time of the year again - the transfer window is now open until September 1 and it's sure to be a busy period with clubs looking to make big signings ahead of next season.

Upson Jnr in Arsenal frame
Elijah Upson has visited Arsenal's training ground as he considers his next move after leaving Tottenham.
The 18-year-old defender, who is the son of former West Ham and England centre-back Matthew, has a number of top clubs chasing his signature after he turned down the professional terms offered by Spurs.
He is spending time visiting various suitors as he looks to make a decision over the next week. The right-sided centre-back has some illustrious names to consider.
Manchester City, Chelsea, Everton, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and Monaco have all registered their interest.
Upson had been with Spurs since he was seven and featured for their U17, U18, and U21 sides, including in the U17 Premier League Cup-winning squad. His pace and athleticism, partly inherited from his sprinter mother, Ellie Darby, have been standout attributes during his youth career.

The Toffees could add a number two goalkeeper this summer, with Coventry City in the hunt for their existing understudy, Mark Travers.
The 33-year-old former England international is one of several goalkeepers on their shortlist to support Jordan Pickford.
Johnstone made 30 appearances for relegated Wolverhampton Wanderers last season, although he missed the latter part of the campaign due to a shoulder injury. His deal at Wolves runs until summer 2028.

Darlow to make switch from Leeds to Man United
Manchester United are close to signing Karl Darlow as a back-up goalkeeper.
He is a free agent after leaving Leeds United at the end of his contract and his representatives have been discussing a two year deal.
Leeds have made efforts to re-sign him while Everton also made an offer but agreement is now expected to be concluded with United as competition for Senne Lammens. United also expect to sell Altay Bayindir.
Andrey Santos’s move to United is progressing swiftly following his medical today.
The club are expected to confirm his £48m arrival from Chelsea over the weekend.

Everton's Iroegbunam a wanted man
Everton midfielder Tim Iroegbunam is attracting interest from Hull City and clubs in Italy.
The 23-year-old has one year on contract and has also attracted enquiries from Ipswich Town.
Iroegbunam had offers from Lazio in January and a deal to Italy could yet be resurrected.
Everton remain in the market for a goalkeeper with Coventry City keen in Mark Travers.
They had held talks with Karl Darlow but he is joining Manchester United.
Everton hold an interest in Bayer Leverkusen striker Christian Kofane, whose agent was recently pictured at Finch Farm training ground, but a deal is considered unlikely at this stage.
Eagles swoop for Mingueza
Crystal Palace have signed Oscar Mingueza on a free transfer from Celta de Vigo.
The 27-year-old Barcelona academy product becomes Pierre Sage’s first signing as Palace boss, arriving on a four-year deal.
Mingueza made 127 appearances for Celta de Vigo and was in the Europa League team of the season last term.
A versatile defender, he can play centre back and full back. But Palace primarily view Mingueza as cover for right wing back Daniel Munoz.
Palace beat several major European sides to the Spanish international’s signature - including Arsenal and Newcastle United.
The Eagles playfully announced his arrival on social media using the Oscars theme song.

Wilson is the Bees knees
Brentford have completed the signing of Callum Wilson on a free transfer.
The 34-year-old has signed a one-year deal after the expiry of his deal at West Ham.
Brentford head coach Keith Andrews said: ‘Callum is someone that everyone will be familiar with; he has been a Premier League goalscorer for such a long time.
‘He gives us more options in that area of the pitch, and will help Igor Thiago and Kaye Furo with the experience that he has.’
Brentford, who signed Jaidon Anthony earlier this week, are also looking to fend off competition from Spurs for 18-year-old midfielder Ousmane Diabate from Turkish side Genclerbirligi.
Hull get their man, Ozkan
Okan Ozkan was at Hull City today ahead of his appointment as sporting director.
Meslier makes his move
Arsenal have completed the signing of Illan Meslier following the expiry of his contract at Leeds United.
'It’s a great day for me because I have just joined the champions. For me, Arsenal is the biggest club in England,' Meslier said on confirmation of his signing.
“I’m very happy and very proud to join Arsenal. I cannot wait to show the love that I’ve got for this badge.”
Meslier's arrival at Arsenal will allow 20-year-old Tommy Setford to go out on loan if Kepa Arrizabalaga does not leave. He is evaluating offers from Spain.
Charles off to QPR after City move
Goalkeeper Pierce Charles has completed his medical at QPR and agreed his switch to the Championship club as he prepares to join them on loan from Manchester City.
Daily Mail Sport revealed Rangers’ interest in the former Sheffield Wednesday keeper earlier this week as he completed his move back to City in a deal worth up to £10m.
Wrexham had also shown interest but the Northern Ireland international is heading to QPR who have also moved for Motherwell’s Calum Ward as back-up keeper for £650,000.

Toon close to deal for Manzambi
Newcastle are finalising agreement with Freiburg over a £50m deal for Swiss international midfielder Johan Manzambi.
Daily Mail Sport first revealed Newcastle’s interest and talks are progressing despite interest from Aston Villa. Other Premier League sides also expressed interest.
Newcastle need midfielders after selling Sandro Tonali to Spurs and are expecting a formal offer from Arsenal for Bruno Guimaraes who is keen to speak to the Premier League champions if they can agree a fee.
They have now completed a deal worth £22.6m for 18-year-old midfielder Sean Steur from Ajax.
The teenager has signed a five-year deal with Newcastle set to pay £19.6m plus £3m in bonuses.
Steur is the club's third signing this summer, following £42m winger Bazoumana Toure from Hoffenheim and £18m goalkeeper Ewen Jaouen from Reims after the departures of Tonali and Anthony Gordon for a combined £169m.
Bannan's back
Barry Bannan has returned to Sheffield Wednesday after leaving Millwall.
The 36-year-old made an emotional exit from Hillsborough in January after 10 years at the club but the midfielder is back and has signed a one-year deal as they aim to bounce back from relegation.
Millwall have announced the signing of free agent midfielder Mark Sykes on a two-year deal, following his departure from Bristol City.
Leicester set to sign fox in the box
Former England and Liverpool striker Danny Ings is poised to join Leicester City on a one-year contract.
The 33-year-old is a free agent having last played at Sheffield United.
Leicester have also asked about prolific Plymouth striker Lorent Tolaj but he is keen to play in the Championship or higher.
