Nottingham Forest are advancing in their talks for Sporting Lisbon defender Ousmane Diomande.
The centre back was a target for Oliver Glasner at Crystal Palace and the Ivory Coast international is open to moving to the Premier League.
Sources in Portugal say Sporting are pushing for £42million for the centre-back amid interest from AC Milan, Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Leeds United. Forest are understood to be offering £32m. However, it is understood the other Premier League sides are yet to step up their interest.
Forest are light in central defence with Murillo returning from injury and interest building in Jair Cunha. They have signed Xaver Schlager and are ready to offer over £45m for Tottenham's Lucas Bergvall.
£60m deal agreed for Summerville
Al-Hilal have agreed a £60million deal with West Ham for winger Crysencio Summerville.
The offer outstrips the £39m plus add-ons tabled by Roma and the Netherlands international has been offered a long term contract pending his medical.
Final details are being discussed for the 24-year-old but Premier League and European clubs are unlikely to compete with the Saudi offer.

Ipswich's £10m Daizen bid does trick
Ipswich Town have had a £10m bid for Celtic’s Daizen Maeda accepted. A deal worth £8m up front and £2m in add-ons has been agreed in principle.
Earlier this month the forward confirmed his wish to move to England .
‘Since I went to Celtic, I became interested in the Premier League,’ he told Japanese YouTube show Pivot. ‘I started watching a lot of Premier League games. I have a strong desire to play in the Premier League.'
The Tractor Boys have also completed their deal for Leicester winger Abdul Fatawu today, with manager Gary O'Neil saying of the 22-year-old: 'Abdul is a young player who has already gained good experience in the game and we’re excited to have him with us.
'He has strong physical and technical attributes, is comfortable on the ball and can test the opposition in one-on-one situations, so will provide us with good options within the squad.
'Having represented his country at the World Cup this summer, I know he is now looking forward to getting to work ahead of the Premier League season.'

Villa likely to seal deal for Garnacho
Aston Villa are expected to land Chelsea winger Alejandro Garnacho.
After enquiries during conversations over Morgan Rogers’ £117m sale, Villa have proposed a loan for the Argentine with obligation to buy if certain conditions are met.
Chelsea have been holding out for a permanent sale around £40m as Manchester United are also due a sell in percentage.

Spurs agree to sell Lankshear to Middlesbrough
Tottenham have agreed to sell Will Lankshear to Middlesbrough for £14million potentially rising to £20m with add-ons.
There is also a 20 per cent sell on clause and Spurs have matching rights on any bids from other clubs in the future.
Striker Lankshear, 21, who was on loan at Oxford United last season, is expected for a medical later today.

Jackson's name came up during conversations between Chelsea and Villa centred on Morgan Rogers, who is set to move to Stamford Bridge for a club-record £117million and sign a six-year deal with the option of an extra year.
Villa have long been admirers of Jackson under Emery, who had the striker at Villarreal. Chelsea have been taking their time to decide on the 25-year-old Senegal international's future.
With Jackson, Liam Delap, Emmanuel Emegha, Marc Guiu and Joao Pedro as Xabi Alonso's striker options currently, there is an acceptance inside of Chelsea that they need to reduce their numbers, especially while facing a season out of Europe.
Joao Pedro is considered untouchable and so not for sale. Delap is keen to have another season to prove himself after a disappointing campaign following his move from Ipswich, while Emegha has only just arrived this summer from their sister side Strasbourg. Guiu is expected to leave either permanently or on loan.
There remains a market for Jackson, who spent the last season on loan at Bayern Munich. Chelsea are believed to value him at £65m.
That is down on the £80m they were understood to be seeking last summer before sanctioning his temporary switch to Bayern. That came at a time when the relationship between Jackson and then-manager Enzo Maresca had broken down.
Chelsea's plan for Jackson was to have him return in pre-season so that Xabi Alonso could take a closer look at the scorer. Alonso said at his unveiling last week that Jackson was due to join them on their tour of Australia and Asia after his post-World Cup break.
However, sources close to Jackson have told Daily Mail Sport that they are seriously considering Villa as an option after his name was discussed during talks about Rogers. Alejandro Garnacho has also been linked with Villa, but the Argentinian is said to be prioritising a move to Italy.

As reported yesterday, Roma's latest bid of £39million plus add ons is a marginal increase and restructure on their second bid which was rejected.

Ipswich seal deal for new goalkeeper
Ipswich have completed the signing of goalkeeper Kayne van Oevelen from Volendam.
The fee is £4.25m with an initial £3.4m followed by £850,000 in add-ons.
The 22-year-old, who is seen as one for the future, has signed until 2031.
Ipswich have had a bid rejected for another goalkeeper, Kjell Scherpen from Union Saint-Gilloise.

Scott has two years remaining on his current deal and was offered fresh terms by the Cherries in March this year.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United all hold an interest in the 22-year-old, but Bournemouth's stance is that he is not for sale this summer - regardless of his contract situation.
Daily Mail Sport understands Bournemouth have not put a price or valuation on the Under-21 European Championship winner as they do not consider him for sale.

Just last week, new Cherries boss Marco Rose told the media he was confident that in-demand Scott and Junior Kroupi would remain on the South Coast for their Europa League campaign.
Bournemouth's policy this summer is to keep hold of their best players for Europe - including Scott, Kroupi and winger Rayan - but it remains to be seen if substantial offers would test their resolve.
Scott played 39 times for Bournemouth last season and was key to securing European football for the first time in the club's history.
Thomas Tuchel awarded Scott his first international call-up last November, although he did not earn a cap.
The midfielder also travelled to the United States with the Three Lions before the World Cup to take part in their tournament preparation camp.
Even if Bournemouth could be persuaded to do business over Scott, it's understood that United would have to sell players to afford the £80m it would be likely to cost to prise him away from the Vitality Stadium.
The club want to sell top-earner Marcus Rashford following his loan spells at Barcelona and Aston Villa, and would listen to offers for Joshua Zirkzee. Manuel Ugarte would also have been available, but the Uruguay midfielder sustained a serious knee injury at the World Cup and will spend much of next season recuperating at Carrington.
As it stands, United will struggle to sign Scott and Roma midfielder Manu Kone appears to be a more realistic option after United held talks with the Frenchman's camp.
