ITV Dancing On Ice suffers on air blunder as Christopher Dean drops ‘F bomb’

Dancing on Ice viewers were left gobsmashed as Christopher Dean swore live on air just minutes into the show. During tonight’s (March 2) episode of the ITV hit show, hosts Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern were back on our screens as the four remaining celebrities took to the ice alone for the first time to fight for a place in the grand final.

Finalists Michaela Strachan, Anton Ferdinand, Sam Ashton and Dan Edgar were ready to battle it out to secure their place in the competition.

However it was one moment after Sam’s performance that took fans by surprise as judge Chris appeared to drop the “F bomb”. Sam and pro partner Molly took to the ice to impress the judges with a routine to Queen classic I Want to Break Free.

Ashley, Oti and Chris all scored the performance a 10 meanwhile Jayne gave them a 9.5 but it all took a turn When Chris was asked what he would score the actors solo challenge.

The former pro became flustered as he forgot to put down his score and tn a panic, he shouted: “Oh f***ing heck, I forgot to put that in.”

Chris later pointed out: “I got so excited with your performance that I forgot to give you a mark.”

The show was quick to issue an apology, but it still didn’t take long for viewers to share their reaction online.

One fan asked: “Did Christopher Dean just drop an F bomb? #DancingOnIce.” Another went on to say: “Did Christ just go F***ing Heck. #dancingonice.”

It comes as Chris and Jayne Torvill recently confirmed their Dancing On Ice future. The dup are set to dazzle fans one final time on the Ice as they say goodbye with a performance that marks the end of an incredible 50-year journey on ice.

The pre-recorded emotional segment showcases the iconic pair, whose crowning achievement was their Bolero routine at the 1984 Winter Olympics, winning a gold medal.

Chris confessed: "We've been doing it a long time and people our age shouldn't be doing it now, so we're just happy that we can still do it.”

In a heartfelt discussion with The Sun, he added: "This will be our last live skate on Dancing On Ice because we're doing our final tour this year. So once we've finished our last skate on the tour, we won't be performing again."

Dancing On Ice airs Saturday night from 6.30pm on ITV and ITVX
