The Chase flooded with complaints as Mark Labbett makes brutally honest admission

Viewers of The Chase were not impressed with the contestants' performances during the latest edition of the programme.Bradley Walsh welcomed four new contestants on Friday's (March 7) episode, who were hoping to get the better of chaser Mark Labbett. But things quickly went sideways for the team as one by one, they were caught by The Beast.
After Jayne and Eileen were eliminated, Matthew stepped up to the spot. Not wanting the same thing to happen to him, he decided to take the low offer of £500. This sparked outrage amongst viewers as they flocked to complain about the decision. One wrote: "500 quid, Jesus bloody wept. Are they trying to bore all the viewers to death?"
A second fumed: "They have no money in the bank. Lost 2 players The geezer had £4k in the cash build And he takes the £500 lower offer!!"
Another echoed: "£500 ??? Ah ffs. I have always loved this program but this past week has been absolutely and utterly dire."
Despite taking the low offer, it still didn't help the 18-year-old as he was caught by Mark. And it was no different for Keith, 62, who was also knocked out before making it to the final chase.
After knocking out the entire team, Mark bluntly admitted: "I haven't had one of these for a while." Viewers were fuming with what they had witnessed as they flooded social media with more complaints.
One fumed: "All four contestants have been taken out by the Chaser! A useless Lazarus team tonight whose brains fell out of their heads whilst making their way to the studio! Why can’t ITV cast those capable of answering simple questions correctly!"
"My god this team is dreadful," added a second as another posted: "Why do people go on when they know nothing about anything?"
A fourth declared: "This show is becoming awful...."
As all four players were caught, the team had the chance to bring back one contestant to represent them in the final chase. If that player wins, each contestant walks away with £1,000. They chose Jayne, 46, who earned the most out of everyone in her cash builder.
She managed to answer just 11 questions correctly, which was no match for an in form Mark, who caught the score with more than one minute remaining.
