Gossip Girl star Michelle Trachtenberg's chilling posts which sparked concern before death

Gossip Girl and Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Michelle Trachtenberg sparked concerns among her fans with some worrying Instagram posts shared weeks before her death.
The actress, aged 39, was found dead at her apartment in New York City on Wednesday (February 26) at 8am.
Her final post, shared just last week, was a throwback of her at a Beverly Hills red carpet event in 2013. In the caption, Michelle wrote: "Wanted to look like naughty #tinkerbell."
A few days earlier, she shared another older picture and joked about not letting the "Sunday scaries" get to her. She also shared a more recent photograph of her sitting on an outdoor patio.
While the comments sections have now been filled with fans paying tribute to the late actress, many had shared messages expressing their concern.
The New York police department confirmed her death in a statement on Wednesday.
The police said they responded to an emergency call at around 8am on Wednesday to One Columbus Place in New York and Trachtenberg was later confirmed dead after emergency medical services attended.
Her death is not being treated as suspicious and the police said the medical examiner will determine her cause of death.
The New York Post has reported that Michelle recently underwent a liver transplant.
Michelle began her acting career at the age of three, appearing in adverts before landing roles on TV series.
At age nine, she secured a recurring role in The Adventures of Pete & Pete and starred in the 1996 film Harriet the Spy.
She was also known for playing Penny in 1999 spy film Inspector Gadget and Jenny in 2004 movie EuroTrip.
Trachtenberg's popularity catapulted when she entered hit show Buffy The Vampire Slayer in its fifth season as Dawn, the younger sister of Sarah Michelle Geller's Buffy, and became a regular until the show came to an end in 2003.
She then found a new audience as socialite Georgina Sparks in Gossip Girl.
In 2005 she starred opposite Sex And The City actress Kim Cattrall in Ice Princess and was in 2009 teen comedy 17 Again alongside Zac Efron.
