Royal Family: Meghan Markle always dreamed of 'becoming TV chef like Gordon Ramsay'

With less than one day to go until the cooking and lifestyle show 'With Love, Meghan' airs on Netflix, one person has claimed it is a dream come true for the Duchess of Sussex, who always made it clear she had a strong interest in cooking. Speaking to MailOnline, Professor Jonathan Shalit OBE said to have met with the former actress in 2016 in central London to discuss on-screen opportunities.
Professor Shalit, who is the Chairman of InterTalent Rights Group, claimed Meghan said: "I want to be a TV celebrity chef like Gordon Ramsay". He explained: "At the time of meeting Meghan nine years ago, I saw her as someone whose career was only going to grow and grow."
He believes if Meghan hadn't married Prince Harry, she would be "hosting major TV series and continuing her successful acting career".
According to Netflix, 'With Love, Meghan' will see the Duchess of Sussex "reimagine the genre of lifestyle programming" as she and her guests roll "up their sleeves in the kitchen, the garden, and beyond, and invite you to do the same".
The first trailer aired in January showed the former actress inviting friends and guests to a California estate where she shares cooking, gardening and hosting tips, and a second trailer has followed showcasing banter between herself and chef Roy Choi.
