Dave Portnoy blasts Clay Travis and Fox News host for their blind support of Donald Trump
Proper news from Britain - News from Britain you won’t find anywhere else. Not the tosh the big media force-feed you every day!
Barstool boss Dave Portnoy has again distanced himself from US President Donald Trump by bashing two of his public supporters amid the ongoing trade war with other countries.
Trump's tariffs have left many questioning his decision making with the stock market dropping and other countries, such as China, retaliating.
Portnoy has lost several million since the tariffs were announced with him calling out conservative commentators Clay Travis and Fox News host Will Cain for trying to downplay the economic impact.
Cain and Travis have been in line with Trump publicly on every issue, with his tariffs being no exception.
'Since when do people care about the stock market? That’s bull***t,' Portnoy said of the duo questioning what others believe. 'That’s f***ing bull***t.'
'I would rather people on the right, who support Trump no matter what he does, what he says… when you say stuff like that, to me it’s like, "Well, Trump could cut someone’s head off" and you’d be like, "Well, did he really?" Let’s call a spade a spade.'

Before the tariffs were introduced, Portnoy had rarely broken from Trump and constantly bashed Democrats for their policies.
Yet, Portnoy is not backing down from his overall support of the current president, even as he continues to lose money daily.
'I’m gonna roll with him for a couple days, a couple weeks, see how this pans out,' Portnoy continued. 'I’m gonna give Trump the benefit of the doubt here.'
Trump has showed no signs of backing off his trade war in the days after his policies took effect.
Portnoy has never been one to hiding his feelings, with him believing his lost earnings is not enough to show support for any other political candidate.
