The success of reality shows such as The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) and Made In Chelsea has created a raft of uber-wealthy TV stars, but the real financial clout happens when they pair up.
While married presenting duos such as Richard and Judy and Eamonn and Ruth, who split last year, started out on local radio and TV, the bulk of today’s richest power couples of the screen found fame – and sometimes each other – on reality television.
Here, CLAUDIA CONNELL examines the impressive wealth of TV’s top ten richest couples . . .
1. Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright
Combined wealth: £20 million
Instagram followers: Mark 2 million; Michelle 7 million

Mark, 38, first appeared on TV in the reality show TOWIE in 2010 and continued making a name for himself in others such as I’m A Celebrity and Strictly Come Dancing, which led to him presenting American entertainment news programme EXTRA for three years.
Although he’s earned around £5 million for his TV work, and has £1 million endorsement deals with Littlewoods and Marks & Spencer, the bulk of his fortune has been made from investing in property via his company Chigwell Properties Ltd. He’s now a Heart FM DJ, too.
His Essex portfolio includes five rental properties worth £6.5 million, as well as the £3.5 million Epping Forest mansion he shares with wife Michelle and their baby Palma.
Michelle, 37, found fame in Coronation Street 17 years ago and has starred in TV dramas including Our Girl for the BBC, Brassic for Sky and Fool Me Once for Netflix.
She earns around £2 million a year for her acting roles and endorsement deals with companies included GHD, L’Oreal and Very. Most recent accounts for her company Rosia Promotions showed £3.2million in the bank.

Cat, 48, is believed to have notched up an £8 million fortune from her 28-year TV career, both here and in America.
In the past she’s had an endorsement deal with haircare brand Pantene Pro-V, and now promotes cosmetic brand Ella & Jo.
She also co-owns perfume company E11even – but latest accounts at Companies House show net assets of just £21,000.
She married Kielty in 2012 and the couple spent most of their married life in the States living in Cat’s Beverly Hills mansion that she bought for £2 million and sold last year for twice that.
She met Patrick, 54, when they hosted BBC talent show Fame Academy together in 2002.
Like Cat, his TV career spans nearly three decades across the UK, Ireland and the US. His weekend show on BBC Radio 5 Live and his presenting gig on Irish chat show The Late Late Show are worth around £400,000 a year.
The couple share a house in north London purchased for £5 million in 2023, which is nearing the end of a major renovation after being fitted with a ‘nanny apartment’, his-and-hers dressing rooms and a car port. When finished, the property will be worth in the region of £8 million.
